Global Mental Health Day

Harvard FIMRC, in collaboration with SMHL and SIMHR, held a Global Mental Health Day Event on October 10, 2018. The event was held to advocate for global mental health and also to foster mental health care in the Harvard community. We hosted the event in the Science Center Plaza at Harvard from 10 AM-3 PM and over 100 different people were involved with working the table of the event. Our table featured an interactive gratitude board, a mental health solidarity poster board, stickers stating "No Health Without Mental Health", handouts to foster self care in the campus community/educational pamphlets on global mental health. We also did a lot of research on this event about global mental health facts and broadcasted this to the larger Harvard community through posters that we created and postered around campus.

It's exciting to see this topic being brought up with so many students, by students. Thank you for advocating for mental health awareness!
