Fundraising Initiatives

Dare Challenge
(2020-2021)

The Dare Challenge was a Halloween-themed fundraiser which will helped raise money for the Clean Water Initiative. Individuals across the Harvard community "dared" their friends and professors to do something outside of their comfort zone for a small fee ($1 - $10) and gained points for each dare they made or completed.

Partner Organizations

The Costa Rica and Dominican Republican clinics provide free healthcare to the underserved communities of Alajuelita and Restauracion. In Costa Rica, the community is comprised of a majority of Nicaraguan refugees without healthcare plans, and the community relies heavily on the work of FIMRC's clinic. However, the medicines provided and services supplied are only made possible through donations and volunteers.

Situated in the heart of rich medical community, Harvard's clinic has the unique opportunity to appeal to a number of hospitals in the area for donations. Hospitals such as Mass General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital as well as our very own Harvard University Health Services have kindly offered to help. These supplies are sent directly to the clinic. In addition to medical drives, Harvard FIMRC holds several fundraisers on campus throughout the school year to raise funds for their adopt-a-projects and Spring Break trip.
