I am an incoming first-year interested in joining Harvard FIMRC. How do I join?
Unfortunately, only students who have officially matriculated into the College are eligible to join (so hang on until the fall!) If you want to get involved earlier, consider participating in our summer Global Health Immersion Program (GHIP). For the summer of 2021, the program will run for a week in July. We will post more information on our Instagram when applications open!
Do I need any prior experience in Global Health to join?
No! Just come prepared to learn new things
Do I have to be concentrating (majoring) in a life-sciences or health-related field to join?
No! We welcome undergraduate and graduate students from any concentration at Harvard.
What is the weekly time commitment for this club?
We have hour-long bi-weekly member meetings that all members must attend. Additionally, most members are also part of a committee that meets for an hour a week.
What do club members do?
Club members participate in a variety of activities ranging from volunteering to meeting professionals in the field to organizing club events. Read more about why you should join Harvard FIMRC here
How do I join Harvard FIMRC board or chair a committee?
Harvard undergraduates who have been active club members for at least one semester are eligible to apply for open positions on board chair committees. Members will receive more information about the application process when applications open
